Ever since we had kids we are always looking for kid-friendly places, whether it be restaurants, play spaces, or hotels.
During our recent Asia trip, we stayed at Kung Shang Design hotel in Kaohsiung, and it was the most kid friendly hotel we’ve ever been.
Name: Kung Shang Design Hotel (宮賞藝術大飯店)
Chinese Website: http://www.design-hotel.com.tw/
English Website: http://www.design-hotel.com.tw/en/index.aspx
Chinese Address: 高雄市新興區林森一路237號
English Address: No.237, Linsen 1st Rd., Xinxing Dist., Kaohsiung City 800, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
The room is very large, it is approx. 785 square feet. My girl was very happy running around in the room. As you walk in the room, there’s a huge play space full of toys, a bunk bed, a crib, and a queen size bed. Loved the fact that the crib was already set up and there’s no need to remind them for one.

Other amenities that are super baby/kid friendly include a bottle sterilizer right in the room, a baby bath tub, and baby slippers and shampoo.
The hotel includes buffet breakfast, there are many options suitable for adults and kids. It even has animal shaped buns for the kiddos that are picky eaters. Downstairs in the lobby, there’s an Instagram wall for all the Insta mamas to take photos.

There’s a play room on the second floor of the hotel, includes many toys, legos, and a large ball bit. I see that many parents utilize this space in the morning, while one parent gets the luggages ready for check out, the other parent would be in this play space with the kids.

They have different styled theme rooms, but unfortunately you cannot pick the room, it is whichever that is available for your travel dates. (below photos are from the hotel’s official website)
This has to be the best and most kid friendly hotel we’ve ever been. Every mom will fell in love with this hotel, and we look forward to coming back again next time we visit Taiwan!
